Galfar Engineering is looking to fill the following positions during the walk-in interview:

1. Surveyor

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years of experience, with at least 3 years in the oil and gas construction field.
• Expertise in pipeline, flowline, and wellhead projects.
• Proficient in using survey equipment, including GPS, Total Station, Dumpy Level, and Radio Detection System.

Key Responsibilities:

• Propose new lines using GPS.
• Fix and shift bench marks, and mark coordinates.
• Capture topographical data including shape, contour, location, elevation, and land features.
• Convert survey data/points to digital format.

Preference: Candidates with experience in major EPC oil and gas contracting companies and who can join immediately.

2. HR Assistant

Job Requirements:

• 3 years of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel.
• Exposure to major EPC oil and gas companies in the Middle East is preferred.

Preference: Candidates who can join immediately and are male, as the work locations will be site-based.

3. Document Controller

Job Requirements:

• Experience with major construction/EPC oil and gas companies is preferred.
• Available to join immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming correspondence, drawings, and documents from clients.
• Maintain registers for all incoming and outgoing site-related correspondence.
• Ensure the availability of the latest drawings with the site execution team.

4. Storekeeper

Job Requirements:

• Familiarity with ERP systems and experience in the oil and gas sector is preferred.
• Exposure to EPC oil and gas companies in the Middle East.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify materials received against purchase orders and perform physical verification.
• Generate daily dispatch notes and maintain a calibration log.
• Ensure proper storage of materials in the central store.

5. Material Controller

Job Requirements:

• Experience with major EPC oil and gas contracting companies is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office and knowledgeable about ERP systems.

• Responsible for inventory management and annual stock taking.
