Two Emirates motorists have announced that they will pay only half of their penalties, while another is paying off the payment-offs. The aim is to ease the financial burden and help motorists destroy their penalties so that they can renew their vehicle registration. Here’s what you need to know about the three discounts announced so far:

Abu Dhabi
The Abu Dhabi police have a plan where motorists can be fined if they initially destroy them. If the wrong drivers pay within 60 days of their penalties, they will get a 35 percent discount. If they pay after a 60-day period and within one year, they will receive a 25 percent discount. Fines can be paid through the Abu Dhabi government’s digital channels or directly on the customer service sites of the police. Motorists can pay their balances in interest-free installments through Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCP), Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIP), First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAP), Mashrek Bank and Emirates Islamic Bank.

Ajman
A 50 percent discount on fines applies to crimes committed in Ajman before November 11. Motorists will be fined before January 6, 2023. There are no serious traffic offenses, such as endangering lives, crossing the red light and speeding up to 80 km / h. Motorists can resolve their penalties through the police customer service centers, automated Sahl kiosks or the Ajman Police / Home Ministry.
