ABU DHABI – Malayalee shines with an award on World Teachers’ Day. Greeshma Nair, a native of Pathanamthitta Azhur, Abu Dhabi Mayur Private School computer science teacher and head of the primary department.
Greeshma is one of the top 3 teachers selected by the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (Adec). The winners were selected from 190 applications submitted by various schools by evaluating the impact of the teacher on the learning performance of the students, finding and implementing innovative ideas, role in environmental protection, involvement in school organization, etc.
Greeshma, who has been in Abu Dhabi for 8 years, presented solar lamp and paper bag projects for environmental protection with students during the Covid-19 pandemic. Greeshma, who is also the innovation ambassador of the school, has earlier received the Inspiring Teachers Award and Yella Schools’ Amazing Teacher Award.
Recognition will come to teachers if they believe in their abilities and have the will to do better. Proud to impart knowledge to future leaders. Greeshma said that this award will inspire me to work with more excellence.
After obtaining her degree from Pathanamthitta Catholic College and his MCA from Tiruvalla Mar Athanasius, he came to Abu Dhabi while working as the head of the MCA department at Mount Sion College of Engineering. He was at Bright Riders School in Badasaid for one year.
She is the daughter of Anil Kumar and Padmakumariamma in Kannangatu East. The other teachers who won the award are Daniel Stephen, an art teacher of British School Alkhubairat, and Sunila Bukhari Salman Chaudhary, an English teacher at Islamia English School.
