Indian money enriches these emirates in the UAE; Crore weddings

When talking about the rich Gulf countries, the UAE comes to mind.  Dubai and Abu Dhabi here will blow the mind of anyone. There are many wealthy expats who have siphoned money from the Gulf.

But there is an emirate in the UAE that is booming with Indian wealth, waiting for the arrival of Indians.  This is Ras al Khaimah.  Ras Al Khaimah is now chosen by the super rich as the venue for their weddings.  Here are the details…

Ras Al Khaimah is the third largest emirate in the UAE. This country, which was previously dismissed as an ancient region, is now making a huge leap. Ras Al Khaimah shines as a venue for millionaire weddings.  Especially people from India come here for Arabian night weddings.

Ras Al Khaimah is competing with the world’s leading destinations for wedding venues that have spent lakhs.  These emirates are adjacent to eye-pleasing destinations like Thailand, Bali, Italy and Portugal. The special landscape is the reason why Indian millionaires choose Ras Al Khaimah as their wedding venue.

Last year many Indians chose Ras Al Khaimah as their wedding venue.  44 lavish weddings took place in 2021.  But according to the data till June this year, 32 lavish weddings of Indians took place in Ras Al Khaimah.  The Tourism Development Authority says that there is a huge booking in the coming months as well.

Natural beauty attracts Indians to Ras Al Khaimah.  Adventurous hilly areas, coastal areas and luxury hotels make it all the more attractive. Daya Fort, a UNESCO heritage site, and Al Jazeera Al Hamra all bring Indians to Ras Al Khaimah.  Apart from that are Jebel Jais and Al Marjan Islands.

Indians have been instrumental in boosting Ras Al Khaimah’s tourism sector.  India is also in the list of top five countries.  It is also an advantage that you can reach here by traveling for 45 minutes from Dubai airport.  Accommodation is cheaper than other emirates.  Air India and SpiceJet operate direct services to Ras Al Khaimah.  IndiGo also started service from Mumbai from September.
